Photograph the complete assembly and separate close views of phase and neutral markings. Utility or contractor records can help connect a reel to a project specification, but current reel contents and condition must still be visible. State whether the cable has been stored outdoors, whether ends were sealed, and whether reels have standing-water, flange, wrap, or handling damage.
