What to have ready
A photo of the reel flange and any tag still attached, a rough count of reels, and the city the load sits in. That is enough to price most loads. If the cable is already off the reel and coiled, a photo of the cut end and a rough weight helps.
How fast this moves
Most loads get a number the same business day the photographs arrive. Scheduling a pickup depends on the lane — a load sitting near a corridor we already run can usually be collected inside the week, and a remote load takes longer only because we are routing a truck to it rather than asking you to move it.
If you are comparing offers
Ask any other buyer two questions: is the number itemized by reel, and who pays the freight and the rigging. A high headline number with the recovery cost quietly subtracted later is not a better deal, and that is the most common way sellers end up disappointed.
